Certified Tutor

Teaching and helping others are my gifts. Virtually accomplishing those gifts is my passion. Currently, nursing and nutrition are my favorite subjects to tutor. Nursing patients for over ten years was a rewarding and enriching experience. During the pandemic, I was given the unique opportunity to virtually tutor struggling middle school students until they excelled to a point of independence. This was a very fulfilling experience for me. I understand that we all learn and think differently.

Consistently, my practice is to meet others where they are, being patient and kind, while empowering them to complete whatever the task is at hand. My approach is to personalize my interactions with individuals by supporting them with reaching their highest potential. Tailoring lesson plans to the students' learning strengths. Celebrating all student growth and successes along their educational journey.

There is a higher level of connection and satisfaction that is cultivated while working with students online in a one-on-one capacity. I graduated in June with my Associate of Arts Degree from Concordia University, St. Paul. Along with this degree and my five years of experience teaching in public school settings, I am prepared to enhance students' lives with joyful learning sessions. Each student would be given, to the best of my ability, all respect, with my great listening and clear communication skills.

Recently, I started teaching a dance class. I have been a dancer since the 3rd grade, and I am very excited to now be teaching dance in person when I am not tutoring online.
