Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art. Following graduation, I began working with students as a ninth grade reading interventionist for City Year Miami. In the years that followed, I worked as a sixth grade special education paraprofessional and an ABA therapist. As a paraprofessional, I assisted and taught students in all academic disciplines. The students I worked with as their ABA therapist ranged in age from 4-13. In addition to academic subjects, I created lesson plans and activities geared towards social and life skills. Though I am the most passionate about tutoring in middle school reading and writing, these experiences give me the ability to tutor in all elementary and middle school subjects. I believe a person should never stop being a student, and I bring this sentiment into my personal life. I am constantly challenging myself to learn more about my hobbies, sailing, artists, cook and yogi. Through my travels, I am exploring and learning about new cultures and landscapes throughout the world. As a passionate traveler, I want to excite my students about the world around them.
