Certified Tutor

My name is Brian and I am URI Alumni with a BA in Mathematics. I am passionate about teaching math to students from beginner's math to all the way to Calculus. I also have a passion on mentoring students who are new to the college or who are having personal life issues. The goal for me is to make sure not only students have a good mindset for solving math problems, but also have a mathematical view on it to real life applications. In my sophomore year of college, I have done math tutoring since 2018 where I tutor students from beginner's math to pre-calculus. I also was a college tour leader and a guidance scheduling assistant where I was able to connect with students and prepare them for entering into college session. I even became a TA for 2 years where I was able to assistant students in Math Emporium to College Algebra. My next steps is to attend graduate school to aim for a Masters' degree.
