Amanda
Certified Tutor
I am a practicing physical therapist in the state of Montana. I graduated from Arizona State University with my B.S. in Kinesiology and from Franklin Pierce University with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am a credentialed clinical instructor for graduate level physical therapy students during their clinical rotations. This includes mentoring students regarding study/test prep, providing hands on experience to help develop clinical reasoning and problem solving skills, and furthering knowledge of various biomechanical and movement-related disorders. While I tutor a variety of subjects, I am most passionate about anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise science, and test prep. I have always had an interest in science and movement as it pertains to the human body. I find it fascinating how complex all the various systems of the human body are and how this impacts us and the world around us. I am a firm believer in setting goals and make it a priority of mine to assist students with achieving their academic and career aspirations. I know well the importance of having a mentor and make an effort to empower my students on their path to success. In my spare time, I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, going to the movies, and bowling with friends.
