Along with my CPA, I have a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in General Business, both obtained from Texas A and M University - Commerce. With more than 20 years of experience in accounting working for multi-billion dollar companies, I've gained exposure to the many facets of accounting. As such, I enjoy teaching others the things I have learned.
My philosophy around education and learning is simple. I believe every situation, even the unpleasant ones, is an opportunity to learn something new. Learning gives you the platform to go beyond what you ever thought you could. Therefore, I take my responsibility to help others on their academic journey very seriously.
Toward that end, actively listening, being flexible in my approach to meeting each student's needs, and being patient with those that learn differently are all part of my repertoire.
In education, there is no one size fits all and understanding that allows me to approach tutoring in a way that one size fits many.
