Certified Tutor

I graduated from Ohio University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees: German and Linguistics. I also obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate and completed a semester-long practicum working with adult ESL/ELL students while also holding an internship at a local elementary school working with ELL kindergarten and first-grade students. Most recently, I spent seven months living in Germany and interning as a Fulbright English teaching assistant in a middle school and high school. I love working with students who are passionate about learning languages. My passion and knowledge for German has helped me to study and pursue the language for over 10 years, and I love sharing the nuances of German with others. Even though English is my native language, I have a deep understanding of it, which helps to navigate tutoring English as a second language and aid a wide variety of ESL/ELL students.
