Certified Tutor

I am currently a Junior at Indiana University working to earn my Bachelor of Science Degree in English Education. Throughout my degree program, I have had the pleasure of tutoring students from kindergarten to sixth grade, some of whom were English Language Learners. I was also a student-teacher in high school, where I taught kindergarten and fourth grade respectively. Although the focus of my degree is English, I also have a passion for History, Social Sciences, and General Science. In my experience in working with students, coupled with the growing knowledge from my degree program, I am continuing to learn the most effective pedagogical practices for students. I believe that education can be a powerful tool that can empower one to break barriers and challenge the status quo. Outside of my teaching career, I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, and doing CrossFit.
