I am an experienced Spanish language professional with a demonstrated history of working in higher education. I hold a PhD in Spanish from Florida State University, an MA in Liberal Arts from the University of South Florida, and a BA in International Relations from Agnes Scott College. My expertise is in Spanish language instruction at all levels, including conversational Spanish, literature and culture. I enjoy studying and teaching language through the various arts, such as music, visual art, film, and poetry. I have traveled extensively through Spain and Latin America. I am particularly familiar with Spain, Costa Rica, Cuba, and Colombia. I also enjoy studying Brazilian Portuguese.
