All throughout my academic career I have been a very hands on and logical learner. I have always wanted to know the why behind the steps of how to complete math and science problems. Through my work as a nanny , helping the children with their homework and helping fellow classmates I have found that an individual has more desire to learn the given subject because they understand why it is done a certain way. Not just do the problem this way because I told you so.

As a Junior in college studying Biomedical Engineering I still use this technique in my classes and it has helped me excel. My goal is to help others understand different topics, not memorize a set of rules with their absurd amount of exceptions.
