My name is Jack P. I recently graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University, where I studied theatre and the humanities. My tutoring specialties are in college essay writing, SAT prep, monologue coaching, English language and literature, and college audition prep. I have three years of professional educational experience, having worked as teaching artist at the National High School Institute, Signature Theatre in Arlington, Virginia, and the Theatre Lab School for the Dramatic Arts in Washington, DC.

I also gained experience with remote lesson-planning and teaching as a Teaching Apprentice at Northwestern University in the spring of 2020. These experiences affirmed my deep passion for empowering youth through fostering critical thinking.

For my entire life, I've been dedicated to deepening y understanding of the English language. I am a voracious reader, avid writer, and meticulous proofreader. I've had the opportunity to practice my skills in helping others shape their own writing as both a tutor and a Teaching Apprentice at Northwestern University.
