Certified Tutor

When I was working toward my bachelor's degree in counseling, all I knew was that I wanted to help people. Thoughts of teaching had not entered my mind. However, several years later I had an opportunity to teach and quickly fell in love with the creativity of helping someone grasp a new concept and the excitement of seeing someone's eyes light up when they "got it".
My fourteen years' experience has been in classroom and homeschool teaching, as well as one-on-one tutoring. I have also been a piano teacher.
English, history, elementary math, and piano are some of the subjects I enjoy teaching.
