Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Claflin University in SC and have obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Biology (minor in Chemistry) and also a Master's in Biotechnology. Upon obtaining my degrees, I immediately entered academia. I began teaching at a young age because I have been tutoring and helping my peers and students study, prepare and work on their goals for as long as I can remember. I live, breathe, and eat all things science and take pride in helping students realize that science is not as complicated as its stigma. I live for the moment I see a student's face light up in the understanding of a subject. Especially when they make connections to solutions on their own. My favorite subject to tutor is general chemistry, but I help with all the life and earth sciences. In my spare time, I enjoy music just as much as a science. And to make sure I stay grounded, I love outdoor activities, any opportunity to meet new people, and of course, eating great food!
