Hi! My name is Jewel, and my pronouns are they/them. I'm looking forward to helping you reach your learning goals! I recently graduated high school with honors, and I'm looking forward to my next chapter at UW, studying Geology and Statistics. I found my love for tutoring during the covid lockdown. I helped my local library host online tutoring sessions for students in need during such an uncertain time. I was in charge of creating curriculums, working with students, and setting a good example. I love helping students find their Ah-ha moment, and I'm looking forward to help you find yours!

Being someone who's neurodivergent, school wasn't always easy for me. However with support and perseverance Ive sense found methods that've worked for me and my goals. I'm hoping to share the tools I have while lighting the flame to help you smith new ones for yourself.

Hobbies

I love anything to do with rocks and Geology, and could just talk about it for hours. In my free time I like to rockhound, make art, row, and skateboard. I spend lots of time exploring different mediums and expanding on what I already now to improve my art.
