Certified Tutor

One of my favorite pastimes is solving puzzles. I look at tutoring as a puzzle solving process. It is incredibly rewarding to critically think through material and to eventually come out victorious with an answer or a better understanding of the content. I also look at tutoring as a two way street. I find that being able to teach material to someone else helps me better understand what I know.

I went to Rowan University and received a B.A. degree for Sociology and Philosophy, as well as a minor for Geography.

I tutored at Rowan's Writing Center for two years. This encompassed helping students at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to proofreading. I also assisted with multimedia projects as well, such as powerpoints and video projects. Additionally, I instructed mini classes as a supplementary lesson for college composition courses.

I consider myself to be well versed in numerous subjects. Some of my personal favorite subject to learn about include environmental sciences, anatomy, astronomy, and social sciences.
