I firmly believe that everyone possesses the potential for academic excellence when provided with effective guidance and instruction. Throughout my experiences, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of tailored teaching methods and individualized support.
My educational journey began at the University of North Texas, where I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mathematics. These formative years instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty and versatility of mathematics as a discipline. It was during this time that I honed my skills as a tutor and teacher, having worked with both individual students to classes of over 100 students!
Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Massachusetts, furthering my knowledge and expertise in the field. This academic pursuit fuels my commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements and methodologies in mathematics education. In particular, it is here that I have been tutoring and teaching everything from college algebra to multivariable calculus. Moreover, I help students at all levels prepare for standardized testing, this includes AP exams, SAT, ACT, and GRE. My scores on these have been near perfect, and those I've worked with have managed the same with my guidance!
As a tutor, I specialize in mathematics, a subject close to my heart. Mathematics is not only a fundamental pillar of our world but also an inherently fascinating and dynamic field. I believe that by imparting my passion for mathematics to my students, I can inspire them to approach the subject with enthusiasm and curiosity.
My teaching philosophy revolves around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment while maintaining a sense of purpose and direction. I strive to blend elements of fun and seriousness in my tutoring sessions, ensuring that students feel motivated and empowered to tackle challenges.
In my tutoring sessions, I set clear goals from the outset and guide students through the incremental steps necessary to achieve them. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable components, I help students build confidence and mastery in mathematics.
Beyond academia, I am passionate about traveling, shows, and games. These interests not only enrich my own life but also provide me with diverse perspectives and experiences that I bring into my tutoring practice.
In summary, my dedication to student success, coupled with my academic background and teaching philosophy, positions me as a committed and effective mathematics tutor. I am excited about the opportunity to share my passion for mathematics with students and support them in reaching their full potential.

Outside of tutoring, I have a passion for exploring new horizons, both literally and figuratively. Traveling is a significant part of my life; I've had the privilege of visiting a tapestry of cultures across Europe, the vibrant landscapes of Thailand, and the adventurous terrains of Australia. When I'm not journeying across the globe, I unwind by immersing myself in the world of movies and TV shows. 'Lost' holds a special place in my heart as my all-time favorite, although I keep up with a variety of series including 'Stranger Things', 'The Big Bang Theory', and anime hits like 'Naruto' and 'Attack on Titan'. Currently, I'm captivated by the new 'Fallout' show. Gaming is another avenue where I find excitement and challenge; you might catch me strategizing in 'Fortnite' or in the heat of action in 'Call of Duty'. These hobbies not only bring me joy but also keep my life balanced and enrich my perspectives, which I bring into my tutoring sessions.
